Han Dol Rewards for Failing Students

Han Dol Martial Arts is awarding all Danbury public and private school students two weeks of free lessons in Soo Bahk Do Moo Duk Kwan. If they register for classes at the conclusion of this period, they will receive a mail in rebate totaling fifty percent of the first month’s payment. In return, students will have to present their report cards indicating two or more grades below a C average or a recommendation by their school to enroll in classes over the summer.

According to a recent poll, everyone who has been studying the art said that their lives have improved overall as a result of taking lessons and mastering its techniques. In theory, taking these classes will also improve the lives of failing students by helping them raise their grades due to its emphasis on concentration, discipline, building self-confidence, and stress management.

As an instructor at Han Dol, I have seen Soo Bahk Do improve the lives of many people in several areas of their lives, including students who have improved their grades in school since studying it. We are not really condoning low grades. We are just trying to help students in the community by using techniques and benefits of Soo Bahk Do.

Tell us what you think of this idea. Will it work or is it a bit farfetched?
